I know. I know.

It has been a long while since I last did this. I'm not much of a committed person, to say the least. Well, here I am again. Trying to do the same thing and crossing my fingers hoping history won't repeat itself.

Let's just say that reality took its toll on my blogging time. I won't go into much detail of how my life has been and ya-da ya-da ya-da.

Suffice to say, however, that I'm back with a vengeance and all of you (if there are people who actually reads my blog) shall bear witness to every sordid details of my dramatic life.

I tried several times to change my template but I couldn't find anything that remotely says 'RICKY', 'ROYALTY', 'KOREAN' or 'RICKY-KOREAN-ROYALTY'.
So I customised the template myself.

It's far from perfect. But at least I tried. I've been trying out several templates since the day I turned 20 but to no avail. ugh... I think I'm born to be an IT-handicap. I was frustrated several times and came thisclose to deleting this blog FOREVER!

I was reading something the other day and I had an 'AHA...' moment.

I realised that we need to make ourselves more aware about other cultures. And I don't mean within our country. Familiarise ourselves with cultures from other countries too!

So let's start with a simple word which carries different meanings in different parts of the globe.

And that word is NOSEBLEED!

In Korea, the word NOSEBLEED means working hard.

You work soo hard until your brain burst and blood trickles from your nostrils.

Never happened to ME when I pulled an all-nighter, studying my buttocks off.

In Japanase manga/anime/cartoon, experiencing a NOSEBLEED means thinking perverted thoughts.

Yeah I KNOW!

Frankly, I don't see the connection between being stimulated and nosebleeds.

But Whatever o__0

In The Phillipines, NOSEBLEED means hard to understand.

For example when someone is speaking with bombastic words, packed with medical jargons and prehistoric vocabulary.

At such moments, the Filipinos will say 'Oh nosebleed' meaning 'I don't get it'

Moving on to the States, NOSEBLEED section means cheap seating area.

Imagine sitting at the very top of a stadium or a theater. You are soo far away from the field or stage that the altitude can actually give you a nosebleed.

Now how about Malaysia?

I think our definition of a NOSEBLEED falls somewhere between the definitions of the Koreans and the Japanase. We also have another variation of NOSEBLEED. That is when we fight, hit each others' faces and cause BLOODY NOSES.

Dalmation is not JUST a dog breed

There's a new kpop boy group in town and I'm a fan.

Introducing DALMATION. (all the dogs in the world HOWL. Aaa-oooohhh!)

The name escapes my comprehension and that's saying something because I'm generally forgiving of bad names. Hey, I grow up by the name of KoKo or CoCo so I'm totally one of those people who are blessed with ~~ridiculous~~ awesome nicknames.

To this day, my family still calls me KoKo/CoCo. I would like them to call me Lee Hyun instead but even Royalties cannot have everything. *sigh*

I'm severely clueless about Kpop now. That happens when you are trying to finish 14 dramas in 3 months. So I was on youtube watching Beast MV and one thing leads to another. You know that after you watch several videos, they recommend some videos to you. Well I normally ignore those videos.

But one video caught my attention. There was a guy with flaming BLUE hair. OMO! I got interested and the rest is history.

And THAT'S how This Royalty discover Dalmation.

My Mum Is A DOTA Playing Ahjumma

How long has it been since I last wrote on this humble blog? I used to refer to my blog as my wife but if this is how I carry out my husband-ly duties then my wife-blog( wlog, bwife or wog?) should slap me and claim divorce on the grounds of abandonment and unfaithfulness.

Well let's face it, I have MANY mistresses. Mainly one whose name begins with K and ends with drama.

Yeah I KNOW! I'm a jerk.

I was doing the dishes one night after dinner while simultaneously singing with the spatula when in my frenzy im-a-rockstar-performance was interrupted by my own carelessness. I dropped a bowl on the floor. Don't worry, it was plastic so This Royalty was not harmed. At that time the Queen Mother aka my mommy was also it the kitchen cleaning up and drinking HiGoat Milk (It's milk from a GOAT! Euw).

Just so you know, Queen Mother is used to seeing me sing with many kitchen utensils before so it wasn't weird. Sometimes we even do our own duet concert with her on the mop and me on the broom. It's a weird mother-son bonding thing. And yes, craziness runs in the family. Don't JUDGE!

Oh anyways, I was singing, Mommy was sipping goat's milk when I dropped the bowl. Then as a reflex my mother suddenly let a big 'MEOW' out. Afterwards I laughed and wiped my brows which caused foams of dishwashing liquid to drip to my nose. Then I remembered why my mommy, the great Queen Mother is probably the best mother to raise you.

I remembered one occasion when I was 17, young, acne-free (seriously my skin was FLAWLESS last time!) and equally vain. It was at night, I was studying or pretending to study because my mom was in the room with me. The reason why she was in my room that night was because she was using the computer or p.c. or whatever kids call it these days. Oh you know, the big white box thingamajig people used to have before people became self-conscious and only settle for laptops. (We have three laptops in my house. HA!)

Those days boys started to became crazy about DOTA and because I cannot stand to be clueless about anything, I decided to play it too.

I know. DOTA and me don't really go together in a sentence but I was young and searching for approval from my peers.

Alas, I should have known that it was JUST A PHASE.

I didn't know how to play the darn game even if it's made into a Korean Drama.

I kept on losing so much that i was wondering whether they should make an entire different level for players like me.

That level shall be called 'GENTLE'- Guys Experimenting at Night Time but Losing Excessively. It should be placed somewhere two levels below BEGINNER.

Well SURPRISE SURPRISE! The Queen Mother started playing it an became increasingly better than me. I should hang my head in shame but truth be told I'm SOO proud of her. It's not everyday that you get to tell your friends that your MOTHER plays DOTA, right?

And playing she did! She was the one who taught me how to use the computer so it didn't really shock me to see that she's better. I guess all those time playing Diner Dash and Sally's Salon really honed her skills. Her hand-eye coordination is DAEBAK!

And one thing that sticks to my memory was what happened that faithful night while I was pretending to study and she was playing DOTA. I'm pretty sure she was losing because she kept on mumbling to herself like all those gamers out there. Then BAM! She actually said 'S**T'. I looked at her with my mouth wide opened and she just looked at me with an expression that said ""What?.."

So there you go.

My mother is a DOTA playing Ahjumma.

Secret Garden

One of the hardest qustions anyone can ask me is 'Which is your favourite Korean Drama?'.

Ok, before that... this question bugs me. Why? because although people know that I preactically BREATHE korean drama and would freak like crazy and start fidgetting if I don't watch it AT LEAST once in two days.And yet... PEOPLE NEVER ASK ME THIS QUESTION! WHY???

People ask me 'Why are you obsessed?' but they never ask 'Which one is your favourite?'! Granted, I wouldn't be able to answer them but still... my crazy neurotic mind works like that (don't judge me!). I think it's because I seek recognition for my K-Drama addiction.

Here's a food for thought, if you are obsessed about football, you would not want people to ask 'Why are you obsessed?', right? Instead you would like them to ask 'Which is your favourite team?'. See the awesome point i'm trying to get across?

Gah. stop ranting, ricky.

Ok, anyways... one week ago I wouldn't be able to answer this question truthfully. I would think for about 3 seconds and then say 'Hmm...Delightful Girl Chun Yang?'.

But now. I. Can. Answer. It. *yayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!*

I would say with confidence that, as of this moment, my favourite drama is SECRET GARDEN.

After spending my nights downloading it slowly (cos the file is soo large! but totally worth it!), I decided to watch the first episode. You know the feeling right after you popped a giant ripe zit? (Oh, don't pretend you don't do it too) That's exactly how I felt! It was SATISFYING but also PAINFUL. Just like how we make those funny shapes with our mouth whenever we wanna pop a ripe zit, I was making stupid faces when I watched the drama.

A good drama MUST engage you, makes you wait for the story to 'ripen' and then makes you feel excruciating pain. But at the end of the day, you feel satisfied. Well, Secret Garden is all that and MORE.

Not wanting to be a typical fanboy (ha! like i'm ever ashamed if people accused me of being obsessed), this drama is also very good. Amazing cinematography, a sharp and witty script, interesting use of plot devices, an extremely amazing casts, and to-die for soundtracks.

The awesome story:

A successful uppity rich snobbish man meets a fierce but poor stunt-woman and fights all the time. story gets interesting when we find out the cool rich guy is really nuts & neurotic. Hiding it safely behind his cool front. Guy is smitten with girl but constantly makes fun of her poverty. Then *poof* the body-swap! here comes a roller-coaster ride of comedic proportions and enough emotions to make you fall in love with the drama . WOW... It's just too good to be true.

Hyun Bin stars as the neurotic rich guy, Kim Joo won. i can't believe it was him in My Name Is Sam Soon. I applaud him for being able to play a girl!

She looks soo pretty in that hoodie! I want her & the hoodie too. heh. Did you know, she plays the girl in My Tutor Friend? I know! she looks prettier here even though she's years older. Love her character to bits!

ok, first you apply the shaving cream

Haha... One of my fav scenes from this drama. They swapped bodies already and now the guy trapped in the girl's body is teaching the girl trapped in the guy's body how to shave. (phew that's confusing, right?).

Another food for thought. In english it's body-swap but if you translate it to korean it's actually SOUL-SWAP. Hmm... significant or not?

Drama-Craze Runs in the Family

I've been at home for more than a month now and I've made some startling observations about my family members. And it really makes me giddy when I found out that indeed, as stated above,

"drama-craze runs in the family"

My father cannot miss his weekday Indon sinetron Cahaya. Every Monday to Friday he would be glued on the screen, at 8 to 9pm to be exact. And talk about being fanatic, it's episode 140++ already. I'm sure he never missed any episode (more about this later) because my two-year-old sister, Roxy can sing the entire OST of the drama! My awesome deducing skills tell me that this child grew up listening to it. Other children in other ~~normal~~ families would be singing ABC's & Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars but in THIS family, you grow up listening to Drama OST. It's unhealthy I tell you.

My lovely mother is also a Drama fan albeit preferring Hindi Series. So every weekday nights she would finish up all her motherly chores before 7pm-because at 7pm Pavitra Rishta is on. If by any chance, her chores aren't finish by 7pm, then she would ~~bully~~ ask me or my father to take over whatever it is she's doing. Whenever we, the children, wanted to watch our show which coincidentally airs on the same time as Pavitra Rishta, she would win nonetheless. She would say, 'Ahh, ada repeat juga tu nanti'. Her determination to use her maternal authority over us for the sake of this Hindi Series is really menyalahgunakan kuasa. But we, drama addicts, understands her! Sometimes we have to have our drugs & we're not afraid to use our power to get it. Heh

Another telling evidence that I inherit my hobbies and obsession from my parents is that they, same with me get their dramas online as well. My mum is really internet-savvy (so be careful with what you write to me on fb. she watches her children like a hawk! in a sweet way lah). Anyways, she & my dad would go to U-Tube to watch episodes of their dramas. Just like my symptom, their hands would itch to know more about the drama than other people. Naturally they would watch the episodes online, just like me! (I'm brimming with pride now).

All of us share the same sentiment. This family hates watching drama episodes on TV because of the annoying commercials, breaks, iklan and what-not. This family hates having to wait for another day to watch another episode. We prefer them to be available when we want them. (Hence, the online drama watching-This also means that all three of us could never really miss an episode *punch fist in the air*)

Now I realise that their level of obsession can never beat mine. My obsession is ~~beautiful and poetic~~ inhumane, but that's an entire different story (will blog about this soon). But now I have another ~~excuse~~ reason to add to my repertoire of ~~flimsy excuses~~ concrete reasons.

Whenever someone looks at me funny and asks, 'Why are so obsessed with Korean Dramas?' I can puffed out my chest and answer, 'because my parents are drama addicts too!' *happy triumphant smile*

And oh by the way, I can also tell me them...

The Adam Couple (meaning petite/small couple) was not even suppose to be a couple in the first place. They were just ask to do a WGM Chuseok Special for a maximum two days. but fans love you too much to let go. Ratings soared making both of you the official IT couple!
Why? Because there's something special between you too. The 'Noona-Dongsaeng' relationship is made soo much more beautiful with the chemistry between the two of you.

We Got Married 2011

Any self-respecting k-fan should at the very least know about this show by MBC. The concept is basically simple. Take two idols and ask them to pretend to live their lives as married couple. It's totally unscripted, often times jaw-dropping funny and most of the times I have to watch this alone in my room with the doors locked. I normally would do stupid silly stuff when watching WGM.

"ok doors locked and i got my pillows ready. press play. silly lovey-dovey stupid scene. lips start to widen. small smile. getting bigger. grinning from ear to ear. hug pillow very tightly. nibbles pillow. buries face into pillow. laugh out loud into pillow. guling-guling atas katil."

And I basically repeat this sequence every time I watched it. lol

2010 was a great year for the WGM team. And they owe it all to these three amazing couples.

Min Ho is also scarily responsible in Hello Baby. He seemed to be able to take care of 3 years old baby Yoogeun but can he take care of a girl's heart? hmm..

It gives me comfort to watch people show their love in a simple letter and it amazes me to see these people go to such lengths to profess their love.

This is my first k-related post for 2011! Yay..

Well, as many of us know South Korea institute a mandatory (that means WAJIB) military training for all able bodied men. Personally i disagree to any sort of activity which has the words military and training describing it. Ha! Thank goodness that I wasn't chosen for NS, right?!

Anyways, this would be a major problems for k-celebrities because by the the time they went through all that training(normally in two years time), their fans would probably lose interest in them.

So let's pay tribute to the male celebs who said an-nyeong to the entertainment industry in 2010.

p/s it's fun to see them in military haircuts because celebs normally have cool DAEBAK! hairstyles.

It's a new year after all...

Since it's a new year i might as well start to do my blog justice by trying to blog MORE frequently. I have no idea how you people do it! I mean, where do all of you find time to write?

I hardly have time to go facebook-ing!

Hmm, kuenchansumnida.

This 2011 is going to be DIFFERENT! *cue annoying fireworks* BOOM!!!

I'll be more faithful towards this blog and spill some more beans about my life. It wouldn't be so hard considering I maxed out 20gb of broadband quota already. Ha! That's 20gb worth of korean dramas, music videos, albums and movies downloaded by moi~ That means I can't download as much & I can blog.

A few updates about myself here, shall we...

My family (especially mummy dearest) apparently knows about my obsession. There are many instances where my mum would call me out from my room each time she spots Koreans on TV. My sister, whom we affectionately call Baby (she's nine but acts like a thirteen year old brat-saying things like immature, annoying, whatever etc) is turning into quite a k-fan.To this day she's obsessed about SHINee & will never miss an episode of Invincible Youth. (What sort of example am I potraying as the oppa?!)

I am still and probably forever be battling weight gain. *cue sad sorrowful music*

Most guys won't even care about this but if you know me then you'll know I DO!!! In fact, many men in my family despise weight gain. My uncle didn't eat rice for a few months and lost lots of kilos (envious) and my father went jogging like mad because he wanted to decrease his waist-line (It worked!). I guess it's genetically imprinted in my DNA to be weight-conscious.

As for my obsession, it's still going strong! I wished I still have my DRUG SUPPLIER (you know who you are!) by my side because I have my hands full at downloading stuff and it would be nice to share.

Wow... My life has been amazing this past few days!

The past orientation week was a roller coaster ride of emotions, fatigue, pimples and GaGa people!

I expected that orientation would be fun but never in my sane korean-saturated mind that it would be THAT much fun!!!

Partly because of my Facilitators (all of whom are my dearest friends)! Millions and millions of GaGa thanks to my chin-goo...

C.N. Blue or Code Name Blue is a Korean Indie band formed under F&C Music. When it was formed, the band had only 3 members (Yonghwa, Jonghyun & Minhyuk). They made their first debut in Japan in 2007. On September 2009, former bassist Kwangjin was replaced by Jungshin.
After their hit single I'm A Loner, CN Blue has been gaining popularity ever since!

Aigoo... It broke my heart to see that my last post was on April 24th.

What should I blog about? Oh ya, Hallyu! Duh...

Do you know what Hallyu or Hallyu Wave is, people? Well, it's better known as Korean Wave *squeal-in-delight* Haha..lol

From Boys Over Flowers to My Tutor Friend to SNSD/Girls Generation, South Korea has been making waves globally. I have felt the ripples of that wave a few months back.

It left me feeling drunk and almost like as if I'm drowning. And my only oxygen is Korean stuff. Tsk..tsk..when did i became like this?

Lots of people in the Internet said that K-wave first appeared in Malaysia ever since Winter Sonata was aired. I remember vaguely of my older women crying whenever that drama crossed my mind..

What's ironic enough is that the movie that caused me to be obsessed was not Korean. It's a japanese movie by the title 'Lovely Complex'.

Then as time passed, I expanded my substance abuse!

At this very moment, I'm proud to proclaimed myself as a serious K-holic or K-addict. Yes!!!

Why do I say that? Well, here are the reason...

1. I like K-Movies
2. I watch quite a number of K-Dramas
3. My 'Most Played' songs in my handphone are all Koreans.
4. I can read and write Hangul (korean alphabets). But I'm still working on my comprehension
5. I have lyrics to popular k-Songs.
6. I follow K-Blogs
7. I'll flip to the asian section of any magazine & newspapers to read about Hallyu
8. I know the time difference between Malaysia & Seoul. lol
9. I know the exchange rate between Ringgit Malaysia & Korean Won. double lol
10. I take note about K-Fashion! triple lol
11. Apparently I have a Korean name. Haha!
12. I met & talked with actual Koreans before. They are my chin-goo(korean for friend)
13. My textbooks are filled with Hangul doodles!
14. I dream about being in Seoul and eating kimchi and ramen.
15. My hair (enough said! =p)

There you go... These are some of the silly reasons that I can come up within 8 minutes.
It's ridiculous but unfortunately true.

Pretty soon I need to be sent to a Rehabilitation Centre. I'm sure of it...

Today is the LAST DAY of me being 18 years old. I want to really take note of this day. I don’t want to forget even the smallest detail. Let’s start at the very beginning of the day…

#1 Nature Calls

Woke up late around 7.30. I wanted to pee but ZY was taking his bath so that means no toilet break for RR. VL woke up 1 minute later & wanted to use the toilet too. Pity him…no toilet break for VL as well.

#2 Power of Tap Water

Edwin says my hair looked nice today. Usually he & Mark would come to my house & insult my hairstyle. They would go to extra length to describe how my hair resembles a lion’s mane. Sheesh… Well, anyway thanks for that compliment, Edwin. You should know that I only styled it using tap water . Hahaha =)

#3 Emo in class

Somedays I just feel like *sigh*. I only had two hours of class but I was so tired. So I went back to sleep..

#4 Disturbance

ZY woke me up from my blissful sleep.

ZY: Ricky, Gyver was looking for you. He wants to know if you wanna join him & JX to BBST. JX wanna cut his hair.

#5 No Appetite

Didn’t have anything for breakfast & lunch today. I was not hungry, tired & lazy to go get something to eat. This has been going on for a few days. I cant seem to tolerate rice anymore. Yay…I’m Rice Intolerant! Hahaha… Anorexia World, here I come!

Then we arrived at Pizza Hut..which was very exciting coz we have our very own table with a "RESERVED" sign. It made me think that we were very important people.. Haha..

But the service was not quite good la..

After such a long time..

I haven't updated my blog for such a long time.. Well never mind la..
Let bygones be bygones..

Yesterday was my mum's 37th Birthday. She told me that my father and my sisters belanja her makan.. I was a little upset because I was not able to join them.

Usually we have a tradition for every birthday in our family. Go out to have dinner and then buy a delicious cake to share together(normally i will be the one who will devour the cake la..)

Since I came to KTT though, I have already missed three birthdays.. In KTT, we have our own way of celebrating birthdays. But somehow I will not hesitate to trade 1,000,000 KTT birthdays with just one night of birthday dinner with my family... I wonder how I would feel when my birthday comes next year?

Owh well, the Holy Bible says to not worry about tomorrow. He will provide!!!

There are many things that I miss back in Sabah..

First of all, my family..

Monday

Before coming to KTT, I said to myself that I won't be joining anything. My life would be concentrated on studying, studying and studying!

But somehow the exact opposite happened. Since no one wants to represent ALL 11 for the MPP election, I was asked to do it by my classmates. My classmates wanted myself and my dear friend, AT to go for it...

I was reluctant to do it because I felt that I am not able to contribute anything if I become a Student Counsel (Is that the correct term?). I was also troubled by all the "what if's" questions.

In the end I surrender everything in God's hand. I said in my prayer, "Father, if you want me to be a member of MPP then I know you will show me the way"

So I submitted my form-a day AFTER the deadline! haha... I guess what Melzie said was true-I'm the calon tercicir! :-)

So here is the nominees for this years MPP...

Tuesday
As usual, every Tuesday we have our Captain Ball game. This week, I joined in the fun! Yay... Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of that activity. Hmm... This week Gyver, Willy and I were in the the same group. (Melzie was in the same team with us too!) It was a very bad idea to put the gang in one group. We ended up laughing instead of helping our team to score points. We scolded each other every time we made a mistake (Melzie kept on saying "these people never shut up ho!") but I think the phrase of the day was "Work Harder!"

Naturally, our team lost by 5 points! Congrats to everyone though! Good game, people!

Then later at night, we had our practice for CF on Wednesday. Gavin Man Chose 4 songs to sing! I forgot the 2 titles as I only learnt them that night. But I remember 'In Christ Alone' & 'Whiter Than Snow'.

It was a good time spent with my fellow Brothers & Sisters In Christ.

Willy and I had to campaign for ourselves. It was very nerve-wrecking! Susu said the most important thing is to show your confidence but with humility. Wow...! That's the ultimate combination for a leader, don't you think so too?

Willy and I just tried our best. We discussed about it and we agreed that we will just speak what is in our hearts. We said to ourselves that if God wants both of us to be in the MPP committee, then may His will be done! If we didn't get as many votes as the others then we will support our friends who are in the MPP. It doesn't matter because I'm sure that they will do a good job.

That's why my final message for everyone during my speech was to vote for Willy, Gyver, Joeffrey, AT & Victor.

My sincere apologies to Mark for forgetting to promote him! Mark, I didn't see you that day... that's why I forgot to mention your name. Soo sorry k!

Later that night, we had our CF. It was a night of reflection for me. Brother Chris came and talked to us about the meaning of being a Christian. He was talking about making Christ our Treasure. It touched my heart because so often we put other things first instead of Christ.

Thursday
The second campaign day. My friends-Mark, Gyver and Joeffrey spoke that day. I rushed to finish my lab work and asked permission from my dear lecturer to go early (Thanks Miss!). They came to offer support on Wednesday so now it's my turn to shout their names loudly!

All three did an amazing job! Mark was really humble, Gyver was eloquent and Jo was as real and sincere as he can be. Well done, guys!

Fridays are always my favourite day of the week. Things seem to wind down on Fridays. That day, I went up the hill with Willy( Gyver went to play Volleyball).

I went to Giant today...It was fun but we had to kejar masa because the van came 30 minutes earlier that we expected.

Muni went to McD but she didn't tell me..Huhu..soo sad! Titiakan zou Doublecheese Burger!! But at least I got to eat KFC.

Gyver went to cut his hair. haha...I was sitting soo bored waiting for him to be done, I should have just left him and shop. Haha...But I was being a good friend and offered lots of support. Haha...ya la tu, Ricky!

No lah...I was being very evil actually. I took pictures of him being 'transformed' using Willy's phone. Haha.. The pictures were meant to be private but he posted my picture in his blog. So now here comes my revenge..!!

Things I Did This Week...

Nothing much going on, actually. But I'm determined not to let my blog die. Muahaha..

I made a vow with myself as the witness to keep on adding updates...Even if it means writing about nonsense (like what I'm doing!)

On Saturday, I did absolutely nothing fruitful! Mostly I did lots of kerja budu... At night, I went to bukit bintang of KTT to go online. I heard rumours that the wi-fi connection there is good. Ceh..padahal no difference from the connection in my apartment. Shana was there to STUDY. But of course...when I am among their presence, they couldn't concentrate. I was too noisy! Haha..

Anyways, last Sunday after prayer meeting & breakfast, Willy and I went to lepak at Gyver's room. After talking (mengumpat & bergosip), Willy & I (tanpa segan silu) went and selongkar Gyver's stuff. Selongkar punya selongkar...finally we found the TREASURE!!! Haha...

We found the "Prince-Of-KTT" trophy & sash... Apa lagi.. then trus posing like two very insane people. Haha...

Sorry..you all have to bend your necks! It's Gyver's fault.. He's not a good photographer!

On Tuesday, I went to a Captain Ball game. Basically CB is like netball. But instead of a proper net or whatever-basket- we used Catchers. This game is highly risky because the Catchers had to stand on unstable chairs. This week I didn't play because I was still a bit ill (coughing).

Last week, because I was so into the game, I forgot that I was leading such a sedentary lifestyle before. As a result, I was barely able to walk because of extreme muscle pain. Huhu.. Because of that I wasn't able to follow Gyver & Willy to the pasar malam. (No worries...I ate what they bought. btw gyver's food punya tidak sedap...tasteless!) lol..

Ok back to CB...Although I didn't play, I offered my services as the commentator/referee/cheerleader.. No one dare to challenge my referee-ing skills because I told them that arguing with me will cause one point to be deducted! Haha...(Evil laugh)..

On Thursday, I went to Homes at Inti College. The college is huge...!!! They have their very own 7-Eleven, saloon, cybercafe, lots of restaurants(drool...), driving school(UNBELIEVABLE), etc.. But at least our stairs in KTT have carpet! lol...haha...

Anyways, the Homes was nice. We were treated with a wonderful western style dinner (Gyver ate soo much..He took Sophia's food! Bikin malu la) Hehe... My friends constantly had to remind me to 'jaga kesopanan'. Which was what I did (At least I tried la).

All was well until the van ride back to KTT. The road was soo bumpy that I melatah throughout the journey. Haiz... You add the fact that my two gang of very melatah musketeers also were sitting next to me...then obviously I couldn't control myself.

Note to self: Never sit with Willy & Gyver in a van..!

Then upon arriving at KTT, we decided to pay our dear Makcik Minimart a visit. FYI this is one of our routines-visit her at midnight. Our melatah-ness didn't stop there! In fact, we melatah soo much that the makcik minimart was laughing and coughing at the same time. Well at least we cheered her up tonight! Haha..

Note to self: Stay at least 1 metre from Makcik Minimart...she likes to poke people!

That's the nickname that was given to my former class in SM ST Michael, Penampang, Sabah. I guess one of my ex-classmates coined it. I was reading something just now when I realised how much I enjoyed my final secondary school year with my 5 Amanah SMSM gang.

One of my best friends, assistant class monitor, very active in BSMM, had to suffer for a year because he is sitting beside me, we always fight over simple things, his hairstyle had always been a source of my constant criticism(it looks like jambul ayam! haha), hate him for wanting to study when I wanted to talk, he suspects that I bad-mouth him whenever Im talking to girls(haha..partially not true!), kontrol macho but in a different way that gyver, currently in intec taking american degree in engineering

One of my best friends, prefect, had to suffer for a year because Im sitting in front of her, we always gossip, had a weird fascination for guys with bulging veins(euw), likes to kick my chair during lessons, my hair was thinning because she enjoys plucking hair which is not in its proper place, likes to play questions for answers, likes to pass notes, very good in visual arts, has muscular arms coz she likes to cangkul tanah!(sorry grace! hehe)

One of my best friends, Head Prefect, likes to call me short(I call her elephant), very witty, likes to play with her ruler, has the same handwriting since form 1(she said it's her identity..why change it?), very annoying, serious bookworm, had a weird fascination for guys who are slightly fat, our mind has the same frequency so there was never any silence when both of us are together, crazy, spirited, elephant-ish, makes me smile whenever I see her silly smile(i described it as a dopey smile)

One of my best friend, Prefect, my constant companion to go anywhere, looks like a good girl but also gila-gila, likes to gossip, our conversation revolves around food(haha), likes to roll loose papers until the papers are un-flattenable, hits me on a regular basis, her laughter is very loud, enjoys ice cream like me, likes to comment that she can hear me mengumpat with kenny from my place, hates it when i dont look at her when she's talking, challenges me to repeat what she just said(which Im able to do word by word)

Today is a very class-free day for our class. My oh my... what fun!

Normally I would have my classes as usual....but all the classes in the afternoon are cancelled.

So now I'm free to what my heart desires. I went to the minimart just now and the makcik minimart said to me "Eh, Ricky...happy je!"

Yes, she knows my name because I introduced myself to her. (That's me...very friendly). So I told her that my classes are cancelled. Then she advised me to use my free time to study. Haha..

owh btw yesterday Unit Bimbingan & Kaunseling organised a blood donation drive. Their action is very commendable. We should donate our blood to help others!

If I had the guts to do it, I would have donated my blood. But I was sick so I was not able to offer my blood.

I think subconciously my internal system was trying to make my body feel sick...so I could escape the horror of having a two-inch needle being stuck in my arms. Hehe...

But anyways, I'm proud of those students who donated their blood. You guys ROCK!

Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you. Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?

Student : No, sir.

Professor : Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?

Student : No , sir.

Professor : Have you ever Felt your GOD, Tasted your GOD, Smelt your GOD? Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?

Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.

Professor : Yet you still Believe in HIM?

Student : Yes.

Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?

Student : Nothing. I only have my Faith.

Professor : Yes, Faith. And that is the Problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?

Professor : Yes.

Student : And is there such a thing as Cold?

Professor : Yes.

Student : No, sir. There isn't.

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat, a Little Heat or No Heat. But we don't have anything called Cold. We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as Cold. Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat. We cannot Measure Cold. Heat is Energy. Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

(There was Pin-Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?

Professor : Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?

Student : You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the Absence of Something. You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . . But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it? In reality, Darkness isn't. If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?

Professor : So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?

Student : Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.

Professor : Flawed ? Can you explain how?

Student : Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD. You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought. It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing. Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it. Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?

Professor : If you are referring to the> Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.

Student : Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument was going )

Student : Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and Cannot even prove that this Process is an On-Going Endeavor. Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir? Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?

(The Class was in Uproar )

Student : Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?

(The Class broke out into Laughter)

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . . No one appears to have done so. So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that You have No Brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor : I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.

Student : That is it sir . . . Exactly ! The Link between Man & GOD is FAITH. That is all that Keeps Things Alive and Moving.

I should mention that the student was Albert Einstein :-)

Yes...I finally own a new blog. Muahaha... Gone are the days where I can only read through other people's blog, seething with envy.

Anyway, today is Clarissa's birthday. Some of my friends threw a surprise party for her last night. (Gee...how i wish someone would throw me a surprise party! Even if it's not my birthday..*sulk*) They invited me to come along and celebrate with them but I didn't go. A thousand million apologies to Clarissa. I'm soo sorry!

I did sent her a birthday wish via sms though. Actually I wanted to send her this mms.

However after thinking about it... I decided to go against my decision! Haha... I'm scared that afterwards, she'll be too frightened to even see me!
